RAI TV news report “GrandArte”
Villa Bonaparte, home of the Embassy of France to the Holy See, opens its doors to the public.
One of the most famous “secret places” in Rome, the Villa was described as follows by the writer Lady Sydney Morgan, who traveled to Rome in 1820: “Of all the villas owned by the Borghese family, only one offers English charm, French elegance and Italian taste combined in the happiest manner: the Villa Paolina Bonaparte.”
